Armamos cuerpos geométricos

Con palitos de brochette (aristas) y esferas de plastilina (vértices) armamos un montón de cuerpos geométricos: Cubos, prismas y pirámides.

Fue una actividad súper divertida y aprendimos un montón.

¡No se imaginan lo difícil que fue armar el cubo!!!

¡¡¡SE PRECISÓ MUCHO TRABAJO EN EQUIPO!!!

SCARY STORIES

 6th form students have written very interesting and scary stories. They have designed attractive and colourful covers to attract the readers´ attention. The stories are being exhibited in our playground for curious readers to have a look. Don´t miss them!

¡Cuidemos nuestro cuerpo!

Luego de aprender sobre los diferentes sistemas del cuerpo humano comenzamos a pensar en diferentes formas de cuidar nuestro cuerpo. Por ello armamos láminas sobre diferentes hábitos y prácticas saludables que mejoren nuestro bienestar. También, en contraposición, marcamos hábitos  no saludables. Las láminas quedaron excelentes, pero lo más importante es todo lo que aprendimos y el trabajo en equipo.

2° Grado celebró el Día de la Tradición

Se considera tradición a un conjunto de costumbres, valores y creencias compartidas por una sociedad. Es la tradición, transmitida de generación a generación lo que con el tiempo, crea la identidad de una comunidad. 

El 10 de noviembre festejamos el día de la Tradición. Un día que tiene que ver con la construcción nuestra identidad como país; identidad que se compone por símbolos culturales, que fueron fijados hace mucho tiempo como la figura del gaucho, su vestimenta, su comida, su música.

1° Grado celebró el Día de la Tradición

Familias: el 22 de septiembre 5to grado fue a ver la obra "Mataburros" en el Teatro la Galera. Esta obra cuenta Una experiencia en la que tres licenciados tratan de demostrar la mala utilización del lenguaje utilizando a un ciudadano común como eje de la propuesta.

Por lo tanto se relfexiona sobre Las variedades que puede ofrecer la lengua y lo escaso del vocabulario que utilizamos a diario.

OPEN CLASS

4th FORM:

On October 31st parents were invited to an open class to see how students work. That day different activities were shown.

Students had made beautiful animal puppets. They had to ask and answer questions about the different animals, their habitats, routines, abilities and physical appearance in order to guess the name of the animal.

Then they passed on a little bag with cards in it as music was played. When the music stopped, the student with the bag in his/her hand had to take a card from it and make a sentence with the word written on it. In this way, they practiced vocabulary learnt throughout the year.

After that, they worked with the verbs of the senses. A student came to the front and he/she was blindfolded. So, without being able to see what he was offered, he/she had to guess how the object felt, sounded, tasted or smelt.

Finally, the students sang a song at the end of the open class.

Students showed great interest and enthusiasm during the open class. They really enjoyed every activity!

SPECIAL CLASS

Last week, 5th form had an open class.  First of all, the class was divided into two groups to play TIC-TAC-TOE. During this game, they had to answer questions about “The Olympic Promise”, the story they have been reading during this term. After that, both groups had to make questions in order to find out the name of a famous character. Finally, they took part in a role-play related to the story. The parents and the children have enjoyed the activities and spent a good time together. Congratulations to all the students who took part in the activities and thank you to all the parents who shared that special moment with their children!
